Since childhood, I've been drawn to painting, always aiming to capture the beauty in my surroundings, depicting animals, landscapes, flowers, and loved ones.

My first encounter with oils in my mid-teens sparked the craving for knowledge about traditional techniques.

A lot of determination, some fortuitous meetings, and generous support enabled me to pursue an education in representational art at The Florence Academy of Art - eventually becoming an instructor at the school.

Now, I share my art and knowledge online, welcoming fellow artists and nature lovers to my virtual studio.

Evcer since I can remember I wanted to draw and paint.

I wanted to capture all the beautiful things I found in my surroundings. Animals, landscapes, flowers, shiny objects and the people I loved,

When I reached my mid-teens I had my first experience painting with oils. I can still remember the smell, the joy of pianting with a medium so vibrant, so full of new possibilities.

When I finished high school I knew one thing; I wanted to study representational art, spesifically traditional oil painting techniques.

Through some fated meetings, lots of support and cherished connections I was able to do just that.

At the age of 20 I started studying at The Florence Academy of Art. There I had the privelige to learn from amazing mentors, some of which became close friends until this day.

After three years of studying I was taken on as an instructor - an experience that opened up the joys of teaching and passing on knowledge.

After leaving the FAA, I was set on expanding my knowledge and building my artistic career.

Over the years I have thaught various courses and workshops, I’ve been bart of several group exhibitions and had my own solo shows.

I’ve been hired by one of Norways largest publishing houses to design bookcovers and featured in various magazines.

This little corner of the internet is where I share my art and some of the juicy knowledge I’ve accumelated over the past 18 years studying oil paint.

It’s my virtual studio - a space where I welcome my fellow artist, appreciated art collectors and soul connected nature lovers.

My offers are here to help you expand your knowledge, spark your inspiration and connect you to your mission.

All without the gatekeeping.

Thank you for being here.

Warmly,

Marie

Make it stand out.

  • Mountain landscape with lake and grassy fields under cloudy sky.

    Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
